I absolutely loving supporting small businesses, especially those run by other female entrepreneurs. It’s why I’m so passionate about helping other business owners through Design by Christi, so when I was asked if I’d write a Howdy Baby Box review, it was an easy YES. The Howdy Baby Box is filled with unique children’s products from women-owned businesses for you & your little one to explore together every month.
Note: sources for all individual items are included at the bottom of this post.

How Howdy Baby Boxes Work
There are baby boxes for birth-2 and kid boxes for 2-6 years old. You can purchase a one-time box or subscribe to receive a variety of fun themed boxes throughout the year. When you subscribe, you can choose from an “essential” or “deluxe” sized box, input the age of your child, and add your child’s clothing size to help make the perfect box for your kiddo(s).
The box we received is a customized “deluxe” box with a few things for both Carter and Charlotte to give a better representation of what your curated box might include for the age of your kiddo.

November Howdy Baby Box Review
The first thing I noticed was the packaging. This truly feels like a gift and the attention to detail is perfect.

This tshirt for Carter is going to be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner and the reusable cloth napkins match our Thanksgiving table, which was a fun surprise! The ez-cup magnetic hanging cups are designed to stick to your kitchen appliances (which is a great idea!), but since nothing in our kitchen is magnet they’re going to make great art cups since they’re sturdy and machine washable.

Next up, STEM and sensory play! This sensory play dough kit is a dream. The dough is soft and smells great, but the scent isn’t so strong that it gives me a headache when they play with it. I love all the different little items included and the way they encourage imaginative play. Carter made faces on his pumpkins, Charlotte planted little wooden trees, and they both had so much fun.
Both of my kiddos also love water beads, so this secret message STEM packet is going to be a big hit too.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this To Do game set, but the cards I’ve looked at are great! We plan to pull out several different activity ideas to do as a family each weekend.

The coloring items were a big hit too. The crayon turkey is so cute and Carter was totally pumped about the color-changing crayon tips. Charlotte liked the little pumpkin shaped crayons. The star of this section was a pack of postcards to color. Carter wrote a note to my parents and dropped it in the mail immediately.

I have a video unboxing here on Instagram if you’d like a closer look at any of these items.
