We’re back at it with a simple Christmas craft today.
If you’re following along with us on Instagram, then you know we are still getting settled in our new home here in Louisville. We’ve been doing quite a few home projects (Charlotte’s playhouse makeover, Carter’s DIY wood accent wall, our big backyard makeover, and more) that I’m excited to share with you soon, but today I’m sharing our newest handprint/footprint Christmas craft.
It’s a little hectic making these with both kiddos at the same time, so I didn’t snap any pictures while we were making them, but the finished results are really cute!
Carter tried both his foot and his hand and decided the handprint was perfect, so you might want to experiment and see which looks best to your kiddo. You could also opt to have your kiddos draw the truck and Santa. For the sake of time, we went with printed options.
We also decided to add some paper punch snowflakes after I snapped these pictures, so those were the little finishing touch that was missing. Those could have been drawn on or added with glitter too.

As always, you can have kids write their own words, draw them yourself, or download my printables to print-and-go for your own Christmas craft in a snap. This is especially nice if you’re working with multiple kids, day cares, preschools, etc. The truck is included in the printables below, but you’ll need to print or draw your own Santa that’s sized to fit inside the footprint sleigh.
