With holiday celebrations up in the air this year (I’m looking at you, COVID), I appreciate all the creative ways families and communities are finding to celebrate. We’re already planning drive thru lights, hot cocoa movie nights, and extra Christmas trees in nearly every room.
One of our favorite holiday traditions is a trip to the farm. We take a snuggly wagon ride down to little log cabin to individually visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Bonfires, marshmallows, cocoa, reindeer treats… it’s so magical! Except it’s not happening this year. Bummer.
So while we’ll still write our special letters to Santa, a visit isn’t in the cards. This left me brainstorming ways to bring a little Santa magic into our home instead. Enter… Christmas Magic Edits! I love it when I can put my “day job” talents to use in creative projects like this for our family.
I made these 8x10s to add to our annual Santa picture frames and gift to grandparents instead of our usual Santa portrait package. We had professional family pictures taken this fall, but regular family photos would have worked too.
