It’s HOT here in Ohio and we’re still sticking pretty close to home, so we decided it was time for more of our handprint or footprint keepsake art projects.

As always, I hope you have fun creating memories with your littles. If you want to grab my printables instead of making your own, they’re in my Design Shop.
I didn’t snap nearly as many pictures this time, probably because we were so busy having fun! As you can see behind Carter in the second picture, we display all of our projects in picture frames when we’re finished. We bought each set of grandparents the same frames and update theirs too.
Carter doesn’t love to get messy, but he DOES love to use these ‘stampers’ for our projects. I love his concentration face!
I think it would be really cute to add additional little thumbprint fish around the big one, but Carter is a minimalist and didn’t want to.

For Charlotte, we had been doing her feet up until now. I find that until your kiddos are around one year old, it can be difficult to get a nice handprint because they tend to make fists instead. First we just let her explore and stand to her heart’s content.
Then I had my husband help me get nice handprints. We do a little flying maneuver and “land” her hand on the table. I also print a few extra in case we need backups once we’re messy.
I added construction paper accents to complete the look. If your kiddos are older, they could use markers to complete the flamingo instead, but it would also be great fine motor practice with scissors.
