Before we moved into our home, I already knew exactly what I wanted on our dining room wall. While browsing Pinterest, I stumbled across an iron pipe and reclaimed wood photo wall that made me swoon. It would be perfect for our laid back, slightly beachy theme with the reclaimed wood look. The iron and chains reminded me of our favorite lazy hammock days in the Outer Banks. My husband said it would be an easy weekend project, which usually means 2-3 weeks. BUT I’m happy to report that this DIY iron pipe picture wall was actually really easy.

DIY Iron Pipe Picture Wall Supplies
We grabbed all the hardware we needed at Home Depot in ONE trip. That almost never happens around here. You’ll need the pipe, 2 flanges, 2 elbows, and screws/anchors to attach it to the wall. Then you’ll need clamps, hooks, and chains to hang your frames.

Then we hopped over to Hobby Lobby to grab these super affordable frames. I went with two 18×24 frames and one 22×28. Always grab them on sale, which is a frequent event at Hobby Lobby. It was super easy to attach the hooks, just be gentle if you get the distressed wood like we did.

Secure the pipe to the wall using your anchors. While the frames were light, the pipe was fairly heavy. Then use the round clamps to attach the chains to the pipe.

Where To Print Pictures
I typically change my pictures every year, so I don’t spend a lot for high quality prints. I actually use Vista Print posters for mine. If I wait for a sale or coupon code, I can update all three pictures for less than $50.
