I just had to share a few of Carter’s highlights from two to three.
- Carter loves getting crafty with momma. Painting with watercolors, play-doh, kinetic sand, the works.
- He adores animals. Lily is often the target of his affection around home and he’s drawn toward goats at the farm. He’d love to see a real life dinosaur.
- Water play is always a hit! The bathtub, the creek, the pool, our water table, and the garden hose are all equally entertaining.
- We took so many adventures! Baseball games, King’s Island amusement park, Lake Erie, numerous farm trips, zoos, museums, the Charlie Brown Christmas play again this year, trampoline parks, and so many play dates.
- Carter continues to be our best helper with things like running errands, mowing the yard, getting the mail, working on the nursery, mopping, etc.
- He got his first treat off the ice cream truck– Batman popsicle, of course! He loves super heroes.
- He says he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up. He really enjoyed fire safety week this fall and earned his junior firefighter tshirt and helmet. He was Marshall from Paw Patrol for Halloween.
- He made his first ‘Build-a-Bear’ to celebrate finding out he was going to be a big brother. He took so much care at the bath station that we had to buy one of the little brushes to bring home.
- This kid can eat! He has gotten a little picky about veggies, but can pack away the carbs. Chicken nuggets, lunch meat, fruit, PB (not jelly) bread, ice cream, cheese sticks, and hot dogs are his favorites.
- He loves taking apart the couch cushions and using all the blankets to build forts.
